She Would Have

_**'ELLO DUDES! Anyways, I just made this one to clarify any confusion on "Cinnamon Sweatshirt". I should have left it as a one shot .-. Oh well. I saw Mikey2101's comment, and I realize that would have been his or her's confusion, many others. **_

_**(hopefully I got the username right, if not I'm so sorry!) Oh, and read Cinnamon Sweatshirt first if you want it to be clearer.**_

_** (did anyone notice that Cinnamon Sweatshirt would sound amazing as a name for a song? It would, wouldn't it?)**_

_**DISCLAIMER: *Puts up 5 fingers* You know what that means? It means 'I do not own iCarly.'**_

_**ENJOY! **_

>
Miserable.

Huh, that's only an understatement.

She felt a lot worse than just 'miserable'.

More like _regretful_.

More like _grief_.

Throw the worst kind of feeling words in the book and you had her emotion.

She clutches that sweatshirt once again. Reliving those moments in the elevator, couch, you name it. You could see the grief of her pain as she walked in her best friend's apartment. She strolls in slowly, shoulders slouched, back hunched; it was the cliché appearance of a depressed teenager.

Her girly friend immediately comes to her side, her voice the level of caring. She tuned everything out though. She was too busy kicking herself for such a stupid mistake.

He's a boy with the looks of a model. He has abominable muscles for crying out loud! And don't remind her about the arms on him, she already takes notes on how he flexes it without knowing, or how they make her feel so safe that it beats her best friend's home by a long shot.

Turning him down… _why for?_

She thinks of anything that she could pin him down for. Anything that would make her accept what she said to have been...

_Correct_

_True_

_Accurate_

almost… but she knows she has nothing she could use.

She glances at Carly, and scowls. Of course, he had years of pining over her best friend and leaving her in the loveless dust. But, as he put it "It was a girl next door crush that was it." And surely she believed.

It was true, but it wasn't like she'd still cling to it. It was that she _did _cling to it. She told herself that he was going to be with her, whether they dated or not.

It made a false assumption for her, thinking the only clear solution to save her for the heartbreak that would never happen.

_**break** up with him, so he can finally be with your best friend and **never** have to be tied down with **you**._

Though, if she would have just stopped clinging to it, and thought about how much she loved him, she would have had the beautiful future that her best friend would have.

_She** too** would have a good future._

She would have had 2 kids.

Her husband would be the one she had gone off on.

Her family would be that cliché Sunday picnic family.

She would have been_** happy**_.

Her best friend would be at her wedding as the maid of honor, and soon switch for her.

She would have been there at the baby showers, and soon switch for her.

She would have had an _amazing_ life.

_she would have._
